CALLED TO BE NOT TO DO

Destiny: WHAT ARE WE CALLED/DESTINED TO DO: WHAT ARE WE CALLED TO BE

(2Tim 4:5-8)But you watch in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, fully carry out your ministry. For I am already being poured out, and the time of my release is here. I have fought the good fight, I have finished the course, I have kept the faith. Now there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, shall give me at that Day; and not to me only, but also to all those who love His appearing.

1. Be the controlling factor in human affairs

Ephesians 2:5-6 even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved),6 and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus,

2. Be the trustee and steward of the Gospel, making disciples

Matthew 5:13-14 “You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt loses its flavor, how shall it be seasoned? It is then good for nothing but to be thrown out and trampled underfoot by men.14 “You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden.
Enforce the defeat of Satan; Use our Authority

Matthew 18:18 “Assuredly, I say to you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.
Matthew 28:18-19 And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth.19 “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
Luke:10:17-19 Then the seventy returned with joy, saying, “Lord, even the demons are subject to us in Your name.”18 And He said to them, “I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven.19 “Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

3. Be living sacrifices of praise!

Hebrews 13:15 Therefore by Him let us continually offer the sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of our lips, giving thanks to His name.
Show forth His glory on the Earth

Colossians 1:27 To them God willed to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles: which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.
2 Corinthians 3:18 But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.
To Come into perfection/maturity

( Phil, 3:12-14)Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect, but I am pressing on, if I may lay hold of that for which I also was taken hold of by Christ Jesus. My brothers, I do not count myself to have taken possession, but one thing I do, forgetting the things behind and reaching forward to the things before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

4. To be and rule as kings; To be priests unto God

1 Peter 2:5,9 you also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ. 9 But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;GOD’S AIM IS THAT HE CHOOSES US, CALLS US INWORKING INTO US ALL THE TRIUMPH OF HIS REDEMPTION, ALL THE VICTORY OF HIS LIFE, THAT WE IN TURN MAY CARRY OUT HIS REDEMPTIVE PURPOSES ON THE BEHALF OF ALL CREATION.A ROYAL PRIESTHOOD! THAT IS GOD’S AIM AND PURPOSE, GOD’S CALLING.

Revelation 1:5-6 and from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead, and the ruler over the kings of the earth. To Him who loved us and washed us from our sins in His own blood, 6 and has made us kings and priests to His God and Father, to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.
Revelation 5:9-10And they sang a new song, saying: “You are worthy to take the scroll, And to open its seals; For You were slain, And have redeemed us to God by Your blood Out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation, 10 And have made us kings and priests to our God; And we shall reign on the earth.”

DANGERS OF AN UNRENEWED MIND

Dangers of the unrenewed mind

ROMANS 12:1 Do not be conformed to the world but be transformed by the renewing of the mind.....

1. Unrenewed mind thinks opposite of what your renewed spirit knows to be the Word and will of God.
2. Your unrenewed mind attempts to pull your renewed spirit away from agreement with the Word and Spirit of God and entice it, even overwhelm it, into agreement with itself.
3. At the point your unrenewed mind accomplishes this, your mind has dominated your renewed spirit.

As such, the following becomes the case. There is now a total division (doubt) in this manner; your unrenewed mind and recreated spirit are lined up as partners in agreement. They stand against the Word and Spirit of God.

1. The result is this; your unrenewed mind has dominated your spirit so that inside your being there is a total division of two against two. Your renegade mind and spirit are divided against the Word and Spirit of God.

2. The tragedy here is this; when this two by two division occurs, your mouth will speak into existence the things your unrenewed mind thinks which is just more of what is already in your circumstances and environment.

Then the four things (the Word and Spirit of God, your spirit and mind) are not lined up. There is a division, two by two. Your spirit becomes separated and lines up with your unrenewed mind because the mind has overpowered your recreated spirit and dictates to it. The Word of God and the Holy Ghost are saying one thing, and your unrenewed mind, which has drawn your spirit away from those two, is saying something else.

When this occurs, you are going to speak the opposite of what the Word of God says. For Jesus says, you have to "say to" your fig tree or mountain based on the revealed Will of God.
So, when I am speaking the Word of God, it shows that my mind has been renewed and is so laced with Scripture that my mind is lined up with my spirit, the Spirit of God, and the Word of God to the point where my mouth is dominated and controlled by these four. When all four are in harmony, my mouth will "say" the things of God.

CHRIST IS MY LIFE

I AM: Crucified With Christ
I am crucified with Christ: neverthless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me. (Galatians 2:20)

Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin. (Romans 6:6)

And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. (Galatians 5:24)

Dead With Christ
Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him. (Romans 6:8)
Wherefore if ye be dead with Christ from the rudiments of the world, why, as though living in the world, are ye subject to ordinances. (Colossians 2:20)

Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? (Romans 6:3)

For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God. (Colossians 3:3)

For in that he died, he died unto sin once: but in that he liveth, he liveth unto God. Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord. (Romans 6:10-11)

Buried With Christ
Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. (Romans 6:4)
For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection. (Romans 6:5)

Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead. (Colossians 2:12)

Made Alive With Christ
And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses. (Colossians 2:13)

Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;). (Ephesians 2:5)

Raised With Christ
If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. (Colossians 3:1)

And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power, Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places, Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come. (Ephesians 1:19-21)

And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus. (Ephesians 2:6)

Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead. (Colossians 2:12)

Seated With Christ
And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus. (Ephesians 2:6)

Joined As One Spirit
But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit. (1 Corinthians 6:17)

For Christ Lives In Me
Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints: To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory: Whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus. (Colossians 1:26-28)

God In Me
And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you. (John 14:16-17)

At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you. (John 14:20)
But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you. (Romans 8:9-11)

I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me. (John 17:23)

One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all. (Ephesians 4:6)

Christ Is My Life
When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory. (Colossians 3:4)
“I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me. (Galatians 2:20)
