His Name is Wonderful

Isaiah 9:6-7 says: For to us a Child is born, to us a Son is given; and the government shall be on His shoulder; and His name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. There is no end of the increase of His government and peace on the throne of David, and on His kingdom, to order it and to establish it with judgment and with justice from now on, even forever. The zeal of Jehovah of Hosts will do this.

During this Christmas season as we remember the Christ, let's look again at this amazing verse written 770 years before the birth of Jesus -- and see how it can be broken down for greater understanding.

CHILD = H3205-ya^lad-means fruit- A primitive root; to bear young; causatively to beget; specifically to show lineage: - bear, beget, birth ([-day]), born, (make to) bring forth (children, young), bring up, calve, child, come, be delivered (of a child), time of delivery, gender, hatch, labour,  (Born of woman Son of Man)

The shoulder of Jesus Christ is His Body, the Body of Christ.

AND HIS NAME = IDENTITY, NATURE, reputation, fame, glory, Name (as designation of God) memorial, monument.

And His Name is Wonderful! Imagine that name. "this word is a noun not an adjective!" Wonderful is His Name. His nature is Wonderful!

AND THE INCREASE OF HIS GOVERNMENT AND PEACE THERE WILL BE NO END.

THE TRUE STORY OF THE WISE MEN

WHAT IS WRONG WITH THIS PICTURE?
THE WISE MEN WERE NOT THERE UNTIL LATER.
The True Story of the Wise men
The stars sang on that holy night and the NIGHT WIND BLEW... While the shepherds watched the sheep, the wise Kings watched the stars.

Even the very universe itself provided their directional guidance of the star that led the three wise men to the Savior of the world. These Wise Men came from the east for only ONE purpose... to WORSHIP HIM.

They traveled together.
These Kings probably arrived when Jesus was about two or three years old. When the magi arrived at the house, Jesus is referred to as a "young Child" (Mat. 2:11). The Greek word used here is paidion (not brephos, translated as "baby" when referring to Jesus in Luke 2:12 and 16). That means that the Wise men worshiped Jesus in a house, not at the manager, as is commonly depicted.

Vatican archives tell of the Syriac story (1,700 years old) about the original Magi, and this recently translated text says that these kings are descendants of Adam and Eve's third son, Seth. Tradition says that it was Caspar (Gaspar), a king from Tarsus (present day Southern Turkey) brought the gift of Gold. Melchior (from Persia) brought frankincense. The gift of Myrrh was given by Balthazar, a King from Saba (present day Yemen). Other legends give different names.

Strong tradition says that there were three, but since the Bible does not say how many Kings, we have no way of knowing. It's interesting that we know they gave three gifts. Also, it's clear that these gifts provided the financial means necessary to sustain Joseph, Mary and Jesus for a long and expensive journey into Egypt that would where they would stay for a considerable time.

What is important is that theirs was a journey of trust - they heard and obeyed. They searched to find the Promise. Why? TO WORSHIP.

CHRISTMAS TIDBITS

12 Days of Christmas

The Twelve Days of Christmas" was written in England as one of the "catechism songs" to help young Catholics learn the tenets of their faith - a memory aid, when to be caught with anything in writing indicating adherence to the Catholic faith could not only get you imprisoned or worse. In this song, gifts are hidden meanings to the teachings of the faith. The "true love" mentioned in the song doesn't refer to an earthly suitor, it refers to God Himself. The "me" who receives the presents refers to every redeemed person. The partridge in a pear tree is Jesus Christ, the Son of God. In the song, Christ is symbolically presented as a mother partridge which feigns injury to decoy predators from her helpless nestlings.

The other symbols mean the following:

2 Turtle Doves = The Old and New Testaments
3 French Hens = Faith, Hope and Charity, the Theological Virtues
4 Calling Birds = the Four Gospels and/or the Four Evangelists
5 Golden Rings = The first Five Books of the Old Testament, the "Pentateuch", which gives the history of man's fall from grace.
6 Geese A-laying = the six days of creation
7 Swans A-swimming = the seven gifts of the Holy Spirit, the seven sacraments
8 Maids A-milking = the eight beatitudes
9 Ladies Dancing = the nine Fruits of the Holy Spirit
10 Lords A-leaping = the ten commandments
11 Pipers Piping = the eleven faithful apostles
12 Drummers Drumming = the twelve points of doctrine in the Apostle's Creed

Origin of the Candy Cane

A candymaker in Indiana wanted to make a candy that would be a witness, so he made the Christmas Candy Cane. He incorporated several symbols from the birth, ministry, and death of Jesus Christ. He began with a stick of pure white, hard candy. White to symbolize the Virgin Birth and the sinless nature of Jesus, and hard to symbolize the Solid Rock, the foundation of the Church, and firmness of the promises of God. The candymaker made the candy in the form of a "J" to represent the precious name of Jesus, who came to earth as our Savior. It could also represent the staff of the "Good Shepherd" with which He reaches down into the ditches of the world to lift out the fallen lambs who, like all sheep, have gone astray.

Thinking that the candy was somewhat plain, the candymaker stained it with red stripes. He used three small stripes to show the stripes of the scourging Jesus received by which we are healed. The large red stripe was for the blood shed by Christ on the cross so that we could have the promise of eternal life. Unfortunately, the candy became known as a Candy Cane -- a meaningless decoration seen at Christmas time. But the meaning is still there for those who "have eyes to see and ears to hear." Every time you see a Candy Cane, remember the Wonder of Jesus and His Great Love that came down at Christmas, and that His Love remains the ultimate and dominant force in the universe today.

A WORD OF ENCOURAGEMENT FOR YOU FOR THIS CHRISTMAS SEASON

A WORD OF ENCOURAGEMENT FOR YOU FOR THIS CHRISTMAS SEASON

The same Seed that was planted in the womb of the virgin Mary when she was overshadowed by the Holy Spirit is the very SAME Seed that was planted in you when we were born again. Just as the angel said to Mary on that day, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Highest will overshadow you; therefore, also, that Holy One who is to be born will be called the Son of God. So has it been with you.  You have received the Holy One. Yes, I have come, but I want to come out of you in a greater way, says the Lord. I have sent forth the Spirit of The Son into your hearts, crying out, “Abba, Father!” You have also cried out, Daddy, to Me. For it is truly Christ in you, the hope of glory. You have been born again, not of corruptible seed but incorruptible, through the word of God which lives and abides forever.
Now this in this season the Christ shall come out of you in marvelous ways, for you shall see many souls born into the kingdom this YEAR. I am strengthening relationships in every area of your life, your family, your friends, and in your brothers and sisters in Christ. I shall make your influence increase and give you favor among those who you thought not. They have been listening to you although you haven’t realized it. Now is the time to see the fruition of all your labors.
For Jesus was the first fruit of many brethren. You are that brethren. Just as He multiplied and produced so shall you if you will be ever faithful and obedient, especially during this season. The Law of the Kingdom is reaping and sowing and I want you to think of all the things that you have sowed. This is the season that you are not going to reap just the 30, 60 or 100 fold increase, but an infinite increase.  Also, you are in the season of restoration and all things that have been plundered from you.  I am restoring, says the Lord, this season.
Remembering I am coming out of you in a greater way.   I am making the way straight for you, parting the Jordan for you, bringing you into the land of promise. Watch and see what I have to say in this coming year.  You are coming out to come in, into full provision, true sonship/ daughtership, full deliverance, total divine health and life.
I am capturing your heart and bringing you unto Myself. You shall partake of the resurrection life, the glorified position I have for you to walk in. Totally in Me you live, and move and have your being. That shall become a reality for you this season. This shall one of the best years you’ve ever experienced for the Spirit of Christ shall prevail. This season is not about giving or receiving, but about the Spirit of Christ in the world. The world shall turn to Me; the knowledge of the glory of the Lord shall cover the earth as the waters cover the sea. Nothing can stop the Seed, Christ Jesus and nothing can stop you if you determine this in your heart.

THE LAW OF THE HARVEST

THE LAW OF THE HARVEST

God has established spiritual laws-invisible forces-that govern every issue of life. These spiritual laws are unchanging. While our circumstances, relationships, finances, or employment will change
from time-to-time, spiritual laws that govern and impact us remain constant.

Ignoring or complying with these spiritual laws will bring either blessings or curses into our lives. As our spiritual maturity grows in the Lord, we will discover the circumstances we face today were actually determined weeks, months, or even years ago by the decisions and choices we made then. Likewise, today's decisions will determine our spiritual strength in the near or distant future.

WHEN WE PLANT, WE HARVEST

The greatest spiritual law is the LAW OF THE HARVEST. It simply says that when we plant, we harvest. Conversely, unless we plant, we will not harvest.

The LAW OF THE HARVEST is not about money, as some have portrayed it. It is about harvest and the multiplication of God's Kingdom. Often what is returned to us does not come directly from the person to whom we gave. It comes from unimagined and unanticipated sources. Thus, it is God's mysterious way of multiplying His Kingdom.

The Kingdom of God expands by sowing seeds. No matter what you give, more will be given to you. If you give mercy, you will receive mercy. If you offer forgiveness to those who have offended you, you will
reap forgiveness. With the same measure that you give to others, it will be given back to you (Luke 6:36-38). In fact, more will be returned to you. When Job prayed for his friends, the Lord restored
Job's losses, giving him twice as much as he had before (Job 42:10). When he gave of his time, energy, and resources to pray for his friends, Job received a double harvest of everything.

SMALL OFFERINGS MULTIPLIED

The LAW OF THE HARVEST was employed when Jesus took a boy's meager provision of seven loaves and three fish and multiplied them to feed 5,000 people. Even today, the Lord takes our small offerings and
multiplies them to touch and feed thousands.

The LAW OF THE HARVEST is also true in human relationships. When we sow kindness into a friendship, we receive friends (Proverbs 18:24).It is also true in the expansion of the God's Kingdom. When Cornelius
sowed prayers and alms, it resulted in the "good news" of Jesus being released to the entire Gentile world (Acts 10). Now that was an investment with tremendous dividends!

The LAW OF THE HARVEST also operates in education. Those who teach learn more than their students. As a teacher sowing into the lives of students, God has multiplied my understanding of the truths I am
teaching. I honestly believe that I benefit more than my students.Furthermore, my investment of time and energy is multiplied in my life, our ministry, and hopefully in advancing God's Kingdom.

GOD'S HARVEST LAW IN ALL OF CREATION

God has woven the LAW OF THE HARVEST into all of creation. It permeates the laws of physics and particle exchange. Simply put in scientific terms, it is the exchange of positive and negative charges
in an atom that forms the building blocks to everything we see.Negative charges bond to positive charges, thereby creating matter.

In a similar way, when we give, we create a negative charge (a reduction of what we are or have). By God's design, this negative charge shouts out for and attracts a positive charge (an addition of
what we are or have). By God's grace, we acquire a greater total mass in the end. Said in scientific terms, true spiritual life is an energy exchange of giving and receiving. The act of giving requires faith that God is loving, good, and gives gifts to His children. By rewarding our giving, God teaches us the value of giving, and
thereby, imparts His character to us.

THE LIFE OF JESUS, A SEED SOWN INTO HARVEST

The LAW OF THE HARVEST is even portrayed in the death of Jesus. He said that His life was a seed that when sown would produce the harvest of the Kingdom (John 12:23-24).

Whatever we give (time, prayer, mercy, forgiveness, love, tenderness, patience, or even money), it will be given back to you with dividends. God will lavish it upon you in good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over (Luke 6:38). For in the justice of God, what you sow will be given back to you in greater abundance.

Remember, it is the LAW OF THE HARVEST-not the size of the seed-that multiplies the Kingdom of God.

MAGNIFYING THE MAKER THROUGH THE PROPHETIC WORD

MAGNIFYING THE MAKER THROUGH THE PROPHETIC WORD

MAGNIFY,
1. To make great or greater; to increase the apparent dimensions of a body.
2. To extol; to exalt in description or praise.
3. To  exalt; to elevate; to raise up

Ps. 34:3 Oh, magnify the LORD with me,And let us exalt His name together.

Ps.35:27 Let them shout for joy and be glad, Who favor my righteous cause; And let them say continually, “Let the LORD be magnified, Who has pleasure in the prosperity of His servant.”

Ps.40:16 Let all those who seek You rejoice and be glad in You;
Let such as love Your salvation say continually, “The LORD be magnified!”

Ps.69:30 I will praise the name of God with a song, And will magnify Him with thanksgiving.

Ps.70:44 Let all those who seek You rejoice and be glad in You;
And let those who love Your salvation say continually, “Let God be magnified!”

Ps.138:2 I will worship toward Your holy temple, And praise Your name For Your lovingkindness and Your truth; For You have magnified Your word above all Your name.

Ps.Luke 1:46 And Mary said: 1 “My soul magnifies the Lord,

Jesus spoke these words, lifted up His eyes to heaven, and said: “Father, the hour has come. Glorify Your Son, that Your Son also may glorify You,

Acts 10:46 For they heard them speak with tongues and magnify God.........

Acts.19:17 This became known both to all Jews and Greeks dwelling in Ephesus; and fear fell on them all, and the name of the Lord Jesus was magnified.

Ps.35:27 Let them shout for joy and be glad, Who favor my righteous cause; And let them say continually, “Let the LORD be magnified, Who has pleasure in the prosperity of His servant.”

Since there is such abuse on this issue, I want to share with you my definition of biblical prosperity.

BIBLICAL PROSPERITY IS THE ASSURANCE FROM GOD THAT I HAVE THAT I WILL BE GIVEN EVERYTHING I NEED TO FULFILL HIS PURPOSES FOR MY LIFE.

The word prosperity means to fulfill your divine destiny, to succeed in reaching your destiny.

(Zep 3:17)  Jehovah thy God is in the midst of thee, a mighty one who will save; he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love; he will joy over thee with singing.

Literal Exegesis- The Lord your God in the midst of you is mighty, powerful, warrior, strong valiant man, a champion; He will save, liberate, deliver, preserve, defend, rescue, make free and open up, give victory; He will rejoice, to make bright, glad, cheerful, display joy over you with glee, exceedingly glad, exceeding pleasure and happiness, making merry; He will rest in His love, affection, He will rejoice, be glad, be joyful, spin around under the influence of violent emotion, over you with singing, shout for joy, release a proclamation of triumph.

Revelation 19:10 And I fell at his feet to worship him. But he said to me, “See that 11you do not do that! I am your fellow servant, and of your brethren who have the testimony of Jesus. Worship God! For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.”

Jesus Himself is synonymous with the heart of prophecy. The ultimate purpose of prophecy should be TO Reveal WHO Jesus IS, what HE DOES, and HOW HE FEELS.

It is not enough to see the need. We must learn to feel that need (see Heb. 4:14-16; Ezek. 3:15). Then we can arise and meet that need!

There are principles which will loose prophetic ministry in your life:
1. You must desire or want to prophesy.
2. You must stuff and fill yourself with the answer, the Word of God.
3. You must stay in tune with the Holy Ghost.
4. You must have compassion and love people.

Therefore, my brethren, desire earnestly to prophesy, and do not forbid to speak in tongues.-1 Corinthians 14:39 NASB, emphasis added.

We must each truly become God's word to the hurting world!

Gift of Prophecy

Gift of prophecy from the Holy Spirit 1 Cor. 12 This Holy Spirit gift is a "body-wide" functioning endowment.

Office of prophet given as "Christ's ascension gifts" (see Ephesians 4:7-12). One of the gifts from Holy Spirit is the gift of prophecy.

Motivational gift prophecy-"We have different gifts, according to the grace given us. If a man's (or woman's) gift is prophesying, let them use it in proportion to his (or her) faith" (Romans 12:6 NIV).

Spirit of prophecy

Interestingly enough, of all the Holy Spirit's gifts (such as healing, tongues, miracles, etc.), this is the only gift God specifically says to "covet" or desire earnestly. That means it is very important, and God sincerely wants all His family to prophesy.

By obeying the "still, small voice of the Lord" we can allow the Holy Spirit's gift to effectively add to God's Kingdom a life for eternity-anytime, anywhere, for anybody!

Don't sweat the mistakes, and just continue to get some good, accountable training in this exciting prophetic adventure-and by all means know that God wants us to desire earnestly the prophetic gift so we can increase His Kingdom-one person at a time-so that "all may prophesy!"

Christ in Us the Hope of Glory

Paul said, "I am crucified with Christ, nevertheless I live; no, not I, it is Christ living in me."  Did Paul say "I live in His resurrection life?" No,  he said - it is not I, but He living in me."  We are two, but no, we are one. "Not I, but Christ living in me."  And so it is!

The 'Church' can never grow up until  their TRUE IDENTITY (CHRIST-IN-THEM) becomes reality. The Revelation of CHRIST-IN-THEM  must come although in many aspects this is a progressive revelation. GOD must become our ALL and IN ALL, our SOURCE of EVERYTHING ~

Once AWAKENED to TRUE IDENTITY, we begin the EXPERIENCE  this reality.

(1Jn 2:27)  But the anointing which you received from Him abides in you, and you do not need anyone to teach you. But as His anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true and no lie, and as He has taught you, abide in Him.

Therefore what God has JOINED together, let NO man put asunder.Do you draw a line between you and the Spirit of the Lord, God Himself? Or do you accept that you are indeed that same Spirit born of God, He in you and you in Him, One with Him, YOU as One?

No longer I but Christ who lives in me.

What do you say?

Rom. 8:16-19  The Spirit himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ, provided we suffer with him in order that we may also be glorified with him. For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is to be revealed to us. For the creation waits with eager longing for the revealing of the sons of God.

(Rom 8:11)  But if the Spirit of the One who raised up Jesus from the dead dwells in you, the One who raised up Christ from the dead shall also make your mortal bodies alive by His Spirit who dwells in you.

The more we discover the Mystery that has been HIDDEN from the ages...CHRIST 'IN' US...we learn to STAY WITHIN...abiding IN THE SPIRIT...the INNER BEING...and we begin to SEE...there is ONLY 'ONE' REALITY which exists...there is ONLY 'GOD'...only ONE thing...we discover that GOOD and EVIL is a product of the HUMAN/CARNAL MIND/THOUGHT!

What’s Left for Jesus To Do?: Nothing

What’s Left for Jesus To Do?: Nothing

I hear a lot of preachers and prophets make the statement God is about to do. Really, what is there left to do?

Jesus perfectly accomplished His work
Jesus left nothing undone or incomplete
Jesus left nothing unfinished or deficient
Jesus left nothing unaccomplished or lacking
His work was totally sufficient.

Since Jesus paid it all; nothing needs to be added to His finished work.
So the message at its core is about resting in what Jesus already did, and not laboring to receive or to somehow earn inheritance. It is done!

Finished work message = understanding who you are

The Finished Work Message states that we are the righteousness of God in Christ positionally– because of the finished work of the cross. Thus, if the white walls surrounding the Tabernacle of Moses represents God’s righteousness, and we have entered into that tabernacle by accepting Christ, the Father only sees the righteous walls of Jesus, not you. When God sees you, He sees His Son. Your only part was to enter in. Additionally, when you entered into the tabernacle, you abide in Him because the Person of Jesus is that tabernacle. At the root, this is who you are, and this is the basis for the Finished Work Message. The Bible is full of these types and pictures that even show the intricate detail of who we are in Him. We understand even better when we combine these pictures with truth such as: Eph 1:7-8: In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of His grace which He lavished on us. NASU

In all, the Finished Work a is a message about overcoming. It is characterized by victory, defeating sin or that which so easily besets us in this life, and achieving God’s high calling–in this life. It does not put off all the promises of God to the next life.

I see the Finished Work Message dealing with the prophetic as well, describing what the last day church looks like. How will the bride make herself ready? What are the things that she is doing that demonstrate the finished work of Jesus to the world? And this message gives the needed guidance to train the bride how to make herself ready. This is the type of finished work message that aligns with the Temple Builders message.
What is the finished work message accomplishing? Its objective is to get us to see who we are in Christ to the point that we will start walking in that reality. We will truly walk by grace, not under law. We will cease to be sin conscious. We will stop a life preoccupied with christian works, which we thought would make us feel righteous. Then we flip it by saying that the revelation of knowing who we are in Him propels us to good deeds, obedience, and becoming a mature temple builder. We start understanding the desert life–the dealings of God that are painful, and learning their lessons.

The gospel is good news, and the good news is that the work of the cross is finished and there is nothing to add; there is not left for Jesus to do inside our spirit. However, Jesus is not done. He is dealing with our mind and our will, and consequently what we DO. He is actively working through His body to build the true temple of God. Jesus is the Temple Builder, and He is the Branch that is growing up in that temple. That part IS NOT FINISHED. Thus, the Finished Work is not really finished. We have a part. We are OVERCOMERS!

SEVEN PICTURES OF JESUS FROM THE BIBLE

HE IS REVEALED IN THE BIBLE:

1. In BETHLEHEM as the Lowly One.
(We see his humility demonstrated through his becoming a man and in his birth.)
2. In JERUSALEM as the Merciful One
(He extended mercy to those religion cast aside.)
3. In GETHSEMANE As the Suffering One.
(He submitted his will to suffering so we could know salvation.)
4. On THE CROSS As the Redeeming One. (He being perfect took our sins (past, present and future) and gave us His righteousness to bring us to God.)
5. In THE RESURRECTION As the Victorious One. (He overcame the last enemy – death and now brings us to victory through his life.)
6. In THE HEAVENS As the Glorified One.
7. In HIS BODY as the Revealed One. Revelation 1--22

He is waiting for all things to be summed up in Him including gathering us to Himself, setting up His physical eternal Kingdom. We will be fully restored to the original glory we were created for and enjoy living in His glory forever.

SEVEN SPIRITS OF GOD

*Symbol- 7 --lamps of fire- fullness of the Holy Spirit (Zech. 4:2)

(Rev 1:4) John to the seven churches which are in Asia. Grace to you and peace from Him who is and who was and who is coming; and from the seven spirits which are before His throne;

Grace and peace is the heart of our Father and that is the only administration that is flowing from the throne today. Jesus was the full expression of a ministry of grace and peace. Not only does this life flow from the Son but it is also the ministry of the Holy Spirit (seven Spirits).

Seven is the number of God’s perfection.

Truly, the Son is the same yesterday, today, and forever (Heb. 13:8).
1. Which IS - He IS (today) for there is a real man in the heavens and He is tabernacled within each of us and corporately in a body.
2. Which WAS - He WAS (yesterday) for He was God in the flesh that walked this earth. He defeated sin  in the FLESH thereby reconciling man and creation back to God.
3. Which IS TO COME - He WILL (tomorrow) come again for there is a REAL man in the heavens, AND…. He is the ever-coming Lord who is continually coming into lives and hearts – "Christ in you the hope of glory" - for Jesus IS COME in the flesh (John 4:2-3) even today! We are not the man Jesus, but He is come in us! The coming of the Lord is a past, present and a future truth!

The Seven Spirits of God:

"There shall come forth a Rod from the stem of Jesse, And a Branch shall grow out of
his roots. The Spirit of the LORD shall rest upon Him, The Spirit of wisdom and understanding, The Spirit of counsel and might, The Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD". Isaiah 11:1-2

As Christians, we have received the Holy Spirit of God whose mission it is to bring forth the nature of Him who has tabernacled Himself within us. He leads us, guides us, and enables us to become The sevenfold Spirit of God are sometimes referred to in the Word as "the eyes of the Lord", "the Lamps of fire", and "the candle of the Lord." Seven is God's number which represents perfection and reflects to us several things.

1. The very essence, being, and ministry of the Holy Spirit is that of perfection. One who will lead and guide us into all truth, show us all things, and cause truth to spring forth within our hearts thereby bringing into action the completion of all things concerning us through the power of the cross.
2. To create within us Godly thoughts which will produce Godly actions.
3. To develop His nature in us for we have been born of His nature through the power of the cross.

The person of the Holy Spirit is all that God is and He has been given to us not just to facilitate change, but to enabler and bring to perfection and manifestation the expression and image of His Son Jesus in us.

THE SPIRIT OF THE LORD is the (Ruwah-Pneuma) energizing source of life and the power of God. He is one with the children of God, working in us and through us. He is both the anointing and the source of the anointing. It is through this power source that God's life begins working is us but actually creates the very life of God Himself within us. Through this life giving force, our will becomes crucified as we take upon His will for our lives. He gives to us His power to become all that He desires for us to be and to do the work of the ministry.

THE SPIRIT OF WISDOM (Chokmah-Sophia) is the supernatural intelligence of God which consists of true and right discernment between good and evil and releases direction and a course of action dictated by that discernment (1Kings 3:9,28). The Spirit
of Wisdom is the essence of all of God's thoughts. It has been given us to know the wisdom of God (1Cor. 2:7-9) but it remains hidden from the world. James told us in James 1:5-6 that if we would ask, God's wisdom would be given us. A child of God who leans upon the Holy Spirit in their walk, will not have to question if something is good or evil for He will impart wisdom to us in all situations if we simply ask.

THE SPIRIT OF UNDERSTANDING (Binah-Sunesis) is a perception, comprehension, and knowing released through revelation. He is God's illuminations and insights released through the revelation of His word. Wisdom and understanding brings life to our soul (Proverbs 3:21-22) and helps to keep us from falling (Proverbs 2:1-5 & Jeremiah 25:10-11). It is when we do not have understanding, that we begin to question the truth of God's Word and its application in our lives. We cannot relate to the ways of the Lord, nor the ways of others without understanding. It is in understanding that compassion is flow forth out of us. It works hand in hand with wisdom.

THE SPIRIT OF COUNSEL (Esa-Boulomai) is God's advocacy, direction, and
instruction concerning life and daily living. He is our advocate that. He points the way in which we are to go and instructs us in how to arrive there. "My ways are not your ways, and your thoughts are not my thoughts" (Isaiah 55:8-9). We can freely seek His counsel with the confidence that He will not withhold from us. It is only when we seek our own way or make decisions concerning our lives without consulting Him, that we find situations in our lives goes wrong way. We are assured of His answering us (Hebrews 10:35-36 & Matt. 7:7-8). Our choice to follow His direction is the deciding power in our lives concerning the results that we will receive. Our choice is the determining factors as to whose life shall be lived within our soul. Gods or Ours! (Ephesians 1:16-19; Deut. 30:19-20; & Psalm 119:109).

As a child of God, we have been given the power (Exousia) of choice in our lives to either yield to the leading of the Holy Spirit or not to yield (Rom. 6:16-18 & 1Cor. 7:37) Non-believers do not have the power of free choice (Eph. 2:2-3 & 4:17-19) because they are still enemies in their own minds (Col. 1:21) and locked into following their own thoughts, desires and emotions. They are totally led by the passions of their flesh.

THE SPIRIT OF MIGHT (Gibbor-Kratos) is God's supernatural ability and power to achieve the thoughts and intents of His will. This ability has been given the church to enable them to OVERCOME. Overcoming is the freedom from self (John 8:31-32,34-36). It is this power and ability in us that enables us to 'put off' the habits of our flesh and crucify it with its passions and to put on Christ (1Cor. 7:37 & Gal. 5:13,16). God's
might is the activation process which gives us the power to carry out His will (Isa. 46:10-11 & Psalm 18:32). We have been made more than conquerors (Rom. 8:37) through Him that loved us and victory by which we overcome is our faith (1John 5:4). It is through faith that we choose to have the performance of His will in our lives and the confidence that He will perform it.

THE SPIRIT OF KNOWLEDGE (Daath-Oida) is God's intuitive, cognitive power which possesses everything that God knows. The Spirit of Knowledge brings us His ability to perceive and know truth. Israel knew the acts of God, but Moses knew His ways. Worldly knowledge (Ginosko) causes us to know something by what we have learned, experienced, seen or come to know through our own efforts (John 17:3), but this is only beginning knowledge. But Godly knowledge (Oida) comes through revelation and gives us the ability to know without effort. This is fullness of knowledge (John 5:20) that the Father gave to Jesus. And we too are His sons and He will show us all things also. It is important that we remain not in the beginnings that God has brought us to, but rather we are to go on into 'intimate' knowledge of Him. He doesn't want us to just know about Him, He wants us to KNOW Him. (2Peter 1:10-11). We have been called to be 'conformed to His image'. (Phil. 1:21) With this knowledge, we can see from God's perspective and truly know that "all things work together for the good for those who love God and called according to His purpose" (Rom. 8:28)
To KNOW is to SEE (John 12:21; Matt. 13:14; & 1John 2:11)
Steps to knowing (Oida) God:
Because we love Him, we make faith choices (1John 5:3)
Because we make faith choices, we will 'see' Him in everything (Rom 8:28; John 8:56)
Because we see Him in everything, we will come to 'know' His character (Heb. 13:5)
Because we know His character, we can entrust ourselves to Him (Phil. 3:8)
Because we can entrust ourselves to Him totally, we are going to 'know' His life
through us ((2Cor. 4:10)

Because we have His life as our own others will see Jesus in us (3John 3)

THE SPIRIT OF THE FEAR/AWE OF THE LORD is the Spirit of holy reverence and respect to the awesomeness and majesty of God. The fear of the Lord will cause us to hate sin but love the sinner and to understand that it is by the grace of God that we have entered the kingdom. It will cause us to walk in love and truth (2Cor. 10:11; 3John 3). We are to glorify God in our living. Oftentimes we look for anointing, but God is looking for anointed lives. It is through the fullness of the Holy Spirit and the drawing upon Him, that our lives will become anointed and we will glorify God. When we are walking in the Spirit, and leaning upon Him, we will manifest His fruit. (Gal. 5:24-25)

Rev. 3:1 ‘These things says He who has the seven Spirits of God and the seven stars: “I know your works, that you have a name that you are alive, but you are dead.

The Lord reveals Himself to this church, the seven spirit of God and the seven stars.  The 7-fold Spirit of God is our empowerment to walk in the Spirit The 7 stars were the 7 messengers of the seven churches. The message to this church is that everything needed to empower new life has been made available not only to the 7-fold Spirit of God, but from the kind of ministry it takes to produce this.

(Rev 4:5) And out of the throne came lightnings and thunderings and voices. And seven lamps of fire were burning in front of the throne, which are the seven spirits of God.

Lightnings and thunderings describe the awesome and wondrous power of God,  lightning His Glory, thundering His authority (also prophetic voice).  Thunderings is God’s voice of authority being heard. It comes with His presence and increases with the number of voices that are speaking in one accord.  In Ex. 20:13 the thunder showed that God was on the mountain. It is also a revelatory voice for those who have ears to hear; a revelation of God’s desire. Seven lamps of fire represent the seven Spirits of God, the Holy Spirit in fullness.

Isaiah 11:1-2

Isa. 11:1-2  depict the SEVEN CHAMBERLAINS who served in the PRESENCE of the KING in the THRONE-ROOM (Rev. 4-5),  which point to the SEVEN SPIRITS OF GOD (Isa. 11:1-2 with Rev. 1:4; 3:1; 4:5; 5:6), HOLY SPIRIT, the FULLNESS of the Spirit that rests upon KING Jesus, the Spirit "without measure" (Jn. 3:34) - the seven-lamped Golden CANDLESTICK,

a. Spirit of the Lord.
b. Wisdom.
c. Understanding.
d. Counsel.
e. Might.
f. Knowledge.
g. Fear / Awe of the Lord.

This is the fullness of Christ. If all the lamps are burning brightly, then we would be in the fullness of Christ ( Eph. 4:12-13). The seven Spirits ( fullness of Holy Spirit)  show us the areas of our heart that need work. ( 7 lamps, 7 eyes, 7 Spirits of the Lord) mean the same thing. The fire represents the perfecting work of this revelation (Zech. 4:10)

Rev. 5:6 And I looked, and behold, in the midst of the throne and of the four living creatures, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as though it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent out into all the earth.

*Symbols- Slain Lamb- sacrifice, atonement,  Son of God (John 1:29,36; Ex. 12)
Seven horns- omnipotence, fullness of power (Ps. 92:10)
Seven eyes- omniscience, insight (Zech, 3:9)

Instead of a Lion, the emblem of strength, John saw a Lamb, the symbol of meekness and of sacrificial offering. The fact that the Lamb was slain, but is living, shows that He has overcome. God’s purpose, concealed for ages, can now be revealed and accomplished (see Is. 53; John 1:29, 36). Seven horns denote complete and perfect power. Seven eyes represent complete and perfect knowledge and insight.  Seven being the number of perfection, eyes represent perception and wisdom.  Seven eyes refer to focusing on God’s perfection. Seven Spirits sent out into all the earth is the fullness of Holy Spirit.

WE HAVE BEEN DELIVERED--PAST TENSE

Col.1:13 He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love,

The “transference” of the believer, from under satan’s authority to Christ’s, is described as movement into another “kingdom.”  Ensuing verses describe Christ’s redemption as bringing us to a place of “completeness,” that is, of spiritual adequacy, authority, or ability to live victoriously over and above the invisible powers of darkness (vv. 14-16; 2:6-10).

This becomes functionally true, as opposed to merely theoretically.

We:

1) live and love as citizens of the heavenly kingdom (Phil. 3:20);
2) utilize this kingdom’s  currency, which is of irresistible value (Acts 3:6);
3) operate as ambassadors authorized to offer kingdom peace and reconciliation to those yet unrenewed in Christ (2 Cor. 5:20); and
4) serve as the kingdom militia, girded for enforcement against the dark powers controlling so much of this present world (Eph. 6:10-20).  The terminology of “the kingdom” holds more than poetic pictures.  It is practically applicable to all our living.

Delivered us . . . darkness conveys the idea of salvation rescuing us from the tyranny of darkness. Drawing on an important OT theme (see Ex. 6:6; 14:30), it includes rescue from such negatives as

danger,
death,
sickness,
and hostile situations in general (see Ps. 33:18, 19).

These rescues include both present deliverances and future, consummated deliverances in the world to come. Conveyed refers to the deportation or transference of captured armies or populations from one country to another.

Notice this is past tense. We have been delivered from the powers of darkness and have been conveyed (transported, this is where we get the word conveyor belt) into His Kingdom, the kingdom of Love and Light.

AMERICA BLESS GOD!

I wrote this poem  on Sept, 1, 2001. Thought it might speak to you today.

America Bless God

by  Dr. Mary Sue Davis

You’ve heard it said throughout the land
God bless America again.
But I propose a different thought
A phrase that everywhere should be taught
Not God bless America
But America bless God should be the sound
From every state, city, and town.
Bless You, Lord, with all my soul, all that is
Within me bless your Holy name
All that is with me and you all that we think, say and claim.
For God has blessed America you see
It’s time to bless God, you and me.
A nation of blessed people we are
From New York to Florida
California to Washington near and far.
From border to border and sea to sea
Blessing for blessing that is the key.
Our families are safe, our health is sound
Abundantly prosperous we have been found
To bless the whole world with our abundant provision
Perhaps we too should catch the vision
So America I say again
Bless the Lord, may Your praise ever be on our mouth
From North to West
From East to South.
Let the cry go out across the land
Not God bless America again
But American bless God every child, woman and man
Lift up you voices with one call
Earth touching heaven one and all.
We want to bless You, Lord,
Not for what you’ve done
But for who You are, You Father and Your Son.
We seek Your face and not Your hand
For we understand that as we bless You
The  seemingly impossible You can.
We are changed from wanting
To genuine giving
From glory to glory
That’s real living.
