Mankind Was Created To Have 7 Basic Needs

Mankind was created to have 7 basic needs

All are fulfilled in our relationship with the Lord

Dignity (recognition, reward, respect)

(Psa 8:5-6)  what is man that You are mindful of him, and the son of man, that You visit him? For You have made him a little from God, ( Elohim) and have crowned him with glory and honor.

(Heb 2:7)  You have made him a little lower than the angels. (Elohim) You crowned him with glory and honor and set him over the works of Your hands.

(1Pe 2:9)  But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for possession..............

(Col 3:24)  knowing that from the Lord you shall receive the reward of the inheritance. For you serve the Lord Christ.

Authority

(Mat 28:18-19)  And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, All authority is given to Me in Heaven and in earth.(You) Therefore go and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,

Blessing and provision

(Eph 1:3-5)  Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenlies in Christ;according as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love, having predestined us to the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will,  to the praise of the glory of His grace, in which He has made us accepted in the One having been loved.

(Psa 23:1)   The Lord is my Shepherd; I shall not want.

Security

(1Co 15:1-2)  And, brothers, I declare to you the gospel which I preached to you, which also you have received, and in which you stand;
by which you also are being kept safe....................

(Psa 23:4)  Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.

Purpose and meaning

(2Ti 1:9)  who has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace which was given us in Christ Jesus before the eternal times.

(Psa 139:14-16)  I will praise You; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Your works are marvelous and my soul knows it very well.
My bones were not hidden from You when I was made in secret and skillfully formed in the lowest parts of the earth.

Your eyes saw my embryo; and in Your book all my members were written, the days they were formed, and not one was among them.

Freedom and boundary

Whom the Son has set free is free indeed

(Rom 8:2)  But the Law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death.

There are no boundaries in Him.

(Psa 103:12)  As far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us.

Intimate love and companionship

Jer.31:3.................... Yea, I have loved you with an everlasting love; therefore with loving-kindness I have drawn you.

(Son 8:7a)  Many waters cannot quench love, nor will the rivers overflow it.

I WILL NEVER LEAVE YOU OR FORSAKE YOU.

I HAVE CALLED YOU FRIEND.

5 FACTS ABOUT YOU

5 FACTS ABOUT YOU

1. You were known before you were seen and created for purpose.

Let us (God, the Father, the Son and Holy Spirit) make mankind in our own image, according to our likeness, Gen. 1:28 meaning righteous, holy, and knowledgeable, the nature of God, exact duplication in kind. God brought all our little spirits out of Himself.

“For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.” Ephesians 2:10 “Workmanship” is the Greek word “POIEMA” (poy-ay-mah). The word [POIEMA] signifies that which is manufactured, a product, a design produced by an artisan. The word emphasizes God as the Master Designer, the universe as His creation (Romans 1:20), and the redeemed believer as His new creation (Eph. 2:10). Before conversion our lives had no rhyme or reason. Conversion brought us balance, symmetry, and order. We are God’s poem, His work of art.”

2. You come from the Father's bosom/heart. He's your source.

(Eph 1:5 ASV)  having foreordained us unto adoption as sons through Jesus Christ unto himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,

(Isa 43:1)  But now so says Jehovah who created you, O Jacob, and He who formed you, O Israel; Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by your name; you are Mine.

3. You are fearfully and wonderfully made

(Psa 139:13-16) For You have possessed my inward parts; You have covered me in my mother's womb.I will praise You; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Your works are marvelous and my soul knows it very well. My bones were not hidden from You when I was made in secret and skillfully formed in the lowest parts of the earth.Your eyes saw my embryo; and in Your book all my members were written, the days they were formed, and not one was among them.

3. You cost Jesus a lot

(1Co 7:23)  You are bought with a price, do not be the slaves of men.

Isaiah 53:3-5.Our redemption is threefold. When Jesus was wounded and bruised for our transgressions and iniquities, our spirits were redeemed. When Jesus was chastised for our peace, our soul (mind, emotions, and will) was redeemed. When Jesus received stripes in His body, our physical bodies were redeemed!

4. You have been called by name and given a new name.

(Isa 43:1)  But now so says Jehovah who created you, O Jacob, and He who formed you, O Israel; Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by your name; you are Mine.

(Rev 3:12)  Him who overcomes I will make him a pillar in the temple of My God, and he will go out no more. And I will write upon him the name of My God, and the name of the city of My God, the New Jerusalem, which comes down out of Heaven from My God, and My new name.

* LOVE (AGAPE) *

CHARITY (AGAPE: Strong’s #26)

(1Co 13:4-8)   Love  has patience, is kind; charity is not envious, is not vain, is not puffed up; does not behave indecently, does not seek her own, is not easily provoked, thinks no evil. Love does not rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices in the truth,  quietly covers all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never fails. But if there are prophecies, they will be abolished; if tongues, they shall cease; if knowledge, it will be abolished.

KJV says Love: suffereth long, and is kind;  envieth not;  vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil; Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth; Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.  never faileth (1 Corinthians 13:4-8).

LOVE:
- Suffers Long/Patient - is an unlimited resource
- Is Kind - is impartial
- Envies not - is above emotions
- Is not vain - operates in the sufficiency of God
- Is not Puffed up - is above intellect
- Is not Unseemly/indecently - gives and does not grab
- Seeks not her own - glorifies God (is not self centered)
- Is not Easily Provoked - is above circumstances
- Thinks no evil - values the Good
- Rejoices not in iniquity/sin, but Rejoices in the Truth - brings and is good news
- Bears all things, Believes all things, Has Hope in all things, Endures all things - is foundational
- Never fails - is eternal

LOVE IS:  infinite, impartial, in the Spirit, in control, illuminating, instant in season, intent on Him, incorruptible, immortal, ideal, indissoluble, indestructible.
LOVE IS NOT:  partial, prejudiced, petty, pompous, puffed up, pushy, prideful, provoked, polluted, promoting sin, passive, perishable.
LOVE DOES:  bring repentance, remit, receive from Him, reveal the Christ, rest in Him, respect others, reverence God, redeem, resurrect, rejoice, restore, remain.
LOVE DOES NOT:  frustrate, factionalize, fret, flaunt fantasize, fornicate, fight, fester, fear, fabricate fiction, falter, fail.

God is LOVE (1 John 4:8,16).

THREE FOLD REDEMPTION

Threefold Redemption

Isaiah 53:4 says, ''Surely He hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows; yet we did esteem Him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.''

''Borne''- The Hebrew word means ''to bear a burden'' for another. [ It is often spoken of the bearing of sin], in the sense of substitution, to take upon the penalty for another. Significantly, it means to ''bear on the body'', for another.

''Carried'' - The Hebrew word means to ''carry away'' or ''remove''.

Both words are synonymous in meaning, conveying, however, the separate ideas of substitution (borne), and total removal (carried).

''Griefs''- This is literally ''sicknesses'', or as the Masoretic text says, ''illnesses''. [i.e., literal physical sicknesses and diseases.]

''Sorrows''- This can be translated as physical diseases, but 11 out of the 16 OT references have to do with mental suffering and anguish. Metaphorically it is the pain of the soul as opposed to the body or spirit. It can be literally translated as ''pain''.

Therefore, ''sorrows'' are pains of the mind, while ''griefs'' are pains of the body.

In Isaiah 53:12, the word ''borne'' is used in the exact same semantic form, to state that, ''... He bore the sin of many...'' and the root is used in verse 11 to say that, ''... he shall bear their iniquities.'' The Messiah ''bore'' our sicknesses and diseases, once for all, to the same degree that He ''bore'' our sins and iniquities, once for all.

Traditional Jewish understanding of Isaiah 53:4, was that the Messiah would be He who would be able to bear, for us physical diseases and carry away our sorrows, or mental disease.

There was, from the literal interpretation of the Hebrew, the understanding that the Messiah would actually be sick! In fact the Messiah was called, ''The leper of the house of Rabbi''. This led to the erroneous speculation that many ''holy'' rabbi might be the Messiah, because they were sickly and diseased most of their lives.

Jesus not only delivered us from our sins, but in His death and resurrection delivered us from mental anguish and physical sickness and disease in the body. In other words, redemption is three fold; spirit (sin); soul (sorrows); and body (sickness).

HALLELUJAH!!!!!!

IT IS FINISHED!!!!!!

Literal reading of Is. 53:4-5
Surely he bore our sicknesses and bore our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken of God and afflicted. But he was pierced for our rebellion
(transgressions);

He chose to remember them no more.

According to Isaiah 43:25, even God must forget in

order to forgive. "I, even I, AM He that blotteth out

thy transgressions for mine own sake, and will not

remember thy sins." (KJV)

He was bruised for our (iniquities) perversities: the chastisement that was needed for our peace was upon him; and by His lashes we are healed.

1 Peter 2:24
Who His own self took up our sins in his own body on the tree, that we being dead to sins, should live unto justness; by whose stripes (bruises) you were healed.

I AM

I am is a statement made often by the Lord affirming who He was. Here are some examples:

(Gen 15:1)  After these things the word of the LORD came to Abram in a vision: "Fear not, Abram, I am your shield; your reward shall be very great."

(Gen 15:7)  And he said to him, "I am the LORD who brought you out from Ur of the Chaldeans to give you this land to possess."

(Gen 28:13)  And behold, the LORD stood above it and said, "I am the LORD, the God of Abraham your father and the God of Isaac. The land on which you lie I will give to you and to your offspring.

Jesus Himself said:(John 8:58)  Jesus said to them, "Truly, truly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I am."
(Rev 1:8)  "I am the Alpha and the Omega," says the Lord God, "who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty."

John 6:51:"I am the living bread which came down from heaven. If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever;"
John 8:23: And He said to them, "You are from beneath; I AM from above. You are of this world; I am not of this world.
John 8:12: Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, "I AM the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life."
John 8:58 Jesus said to them, "Most assuredly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I AM."
John 10:9: "I AM the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture."
John 10:11: "I AM the good shepherd. The good shepherd gives His life for the sheep.
John 10:36: "do you say of Him whom the Father sanctified and sent into the world, 'You are blaspheming,' because I said, 'I am the Son of God'?
John 11:25: Jesus said to her, "I AM the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live.
John 14:6: Jesus said to him, "I AM the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.
John 15:1: "I AM the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser.

Who are you? Whatever you affirm with the I am is who you are.

Proverbs 16:9 says “Life and death are in the power of the tongue.” God created our words to have creative power. What follows the two simple words, “I Am”, will determine what type of life you have and will either bring success or failure in your life. Instead of saying negative “I Ams”, - “I am unfocused. I am never going to succeed”, say what God says you are. Declare “I am blessed, confident, loved, accepted.” When you change your “I Ams,” your life will change for the better. The seeds of greatness God’s placed on the inside will spring forth. Joel Osteen
