THREEFOLD REDEMPTION

Threefold Redemption

Isaiah 53:4 says, ''Surely He hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows; yet we did esteem Him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.''

''Borne''- The Hebrew word means ''to bear a burden'' for another. [ It is often spoken of the bearing of sin], in the sense of substitution, to take upon the penalty for another. Significantly, it means to ''bear on the body'', for another.

''Carried'' - The Hebrew word means to ''carry away'' or ''remove''.

Both words are synonymous in meaning, conveying, however, the separate ideas of substitution (borne), and total removal (carried).

''Griefs''- This is literally ''sicknesses'', or as the Masoretic text says, ''illnesses''. [i.e., literal physical sicknesses and diseases.]

''Sorrows''- This can be translated as physical diseases, but 11 out of the 16 OT references have to do with mental suffering and anguish. Metaphorically it is the pain of the soul as opposed to the body or spirit. It can be literally translated as ''pain''.

Therefore, ''sorrows'' are pains of the mind, while ''griefs'' are pains of the body.

In Isaiah 53:12, the word ''borne'' is used in the exact same semantic form, to state that, ''... He bore the sin of many...'' and the root is used in verse 11 to say that, ''... he shall bear their iniquities.'' The Messiah ''bore'' our sicknesses and diseases, once for all, to the same degree that He ''bore'' our sins and iniquities, once for all.

Jesus not only delivered us from our sins, but in His death and resurrection delivered us from mental anguish and physical sickness and disease in the body. In other words, redemption is three fold; spirit (sin); soul (sorrows); and body (sickness).

THE UNIQUENESS OF YOU

THE UNIQUENESS OF YOU

You as a believer have specific calling and responsibility, your being chosen. That is you have made a choice to fulfill your God- given destiny This equals your uniqueness.God has called you to success and prosperity- nobody is drawn to the ordinary. Your greatest enemy right now is your contentment with mediocrity. Your  uniqueness will draw others. Stop trying to be like everybody else. Learn to adapt, not adopt what you hear, else it will become a suffocating blanket. The imitation is never as powerful as the original. People pick up on phoniness. Too many are an echo and not a voice. Echoes are made in the city, but a voice is made in the wilderness.  What God needs is a voice crying in the wilderness.

What is your uniqueness? By God’s grace, you discover what your strengths, and then you  do that.

Your uniqueness  consists of:

  1. Your GIFT CLUSTER: (a) NATURAL TALENT = things that you are GOOD at; (b) ACQUIRED SKILLS = things you learn how to do better; and (c) HOLY SPIRIT EMPOWERMENT = things that only He can do.

YOUR PASSION = what STIRS you? = stuff you do whether you get paid or not.

Your KNOWLEDGE = your insight and revelation.

Your EXPERIENCES = your character processing.
  2. SECOND,your UNIQUENESS comes at the place of COMMUNITY, your association with others. Again. I say to you your inheritance is in the saints.
Somebody in your life must be there to see your HIDDEN TREASURE, and to speak to you when your ACTIONS do not match your POTENTIAL.

DIVERSITY will be our STRENGTH (see Jn. 17; Rom. 12; 1 Cor. 12; Eph. 4), so our DIFFERENCES will be our WEAKNESSES. Each of us must be radically COMMITTED TO COVENANT to properly deal with CONFLICT RESOLUTION.

3.THIRD, our UNIQUENESS comes at the place of CREATIVITY:

Develop YOUR creativity and SURROUND yourself with creative people. Nobody can do that for you = nobody can have “your baby,” your dream. GOD is CREATIVE = the CHURCH must REPRESENT Him. YOU are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psa. 139:14)!

HOW TO DEVELOP YOUR CALLING AND UNIQUENESS

Work within your Sphere of  Influence

This a place of spiritual jurisdiction, an assigned place that is vital to every believer because it is where you are sent.

Ephesians 4:7 states (Eph 4:7)  But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ.

We have sufficient enablement or empowerment (grace) to do whatever the Lord has called and appointed us to do. It is our sphere of influence.

So grace, enablement,  and a person's calling and anointing only function within the sphere of influence that the Lord has called and place  them.

The Amplified sates in Eph. 4:7

(Eph 4:7)  But unto every one of us is given (imparted or supplied) grace/favor according to the measure (gratuity whose source is the Anointed One) of the gift of Christ. ( free gift which is the anointing of the gift of Messiah, the Anointed One.)
