NO SEPARATION EVER
NO SEPARATION EVER
The answer is simple. All of the Old Testament is written veiled from the full revelation of God. All types and shadows up to the coming of Jesus Christ who is the full revelation and exact representation of the Father. He said if you’ve seen me, you’ve seen the Father all who came before me were robbers and thieves. All of the cosmos was reborn in Christ. In Romans it says nothing separates us from the love of God. King David said if I make my bed in Sheol (hell in English) you are there.
Colossians says where the separation or alienation has always been. In our minds because of our own deeds. God has never separated from His creation and kids. In him we live and move and have our being. We can feel completely detached because of our lives we live for sure. But the moment Holy Spirit reveals Jesus and we respond the veil is lifted. Our response is as simple as just a laying ahold of what is already ours and already true.
Reading the old covenant is like mining for gold while tracking through quite a bit of mud.
I also believe when the writers were writing all the violence and awful dark stuff pinning it on God it was literally their veiled perspective. I’m listening to a message right now that makes a good case all the violence that the writers attributed to God was actually the adversary. THE ADVERSARY WAS CLOAKED AND EVERYONE THOUGHT THAT IF IT HAPPENED GOD DID IT.
We have to look for Jesus in all the scripture. In this same passage we can see Jesus and the true heart of the Father towards all of us when we are in any darkness.
This part of that passage is the gold and revelation of Jesus and the Father
Isaiah 59:16-17,20-21 -
He saw that there was no man, And was amazed that there was no one to intercede [on behalf of truth and right]; Therefore His own arm brought salvation to Him, And His own righteousness sustained Him. For He [the Lord ] put on righteousness like a coat of armor, And salvation like a helmet on His head; He put on garments of vengeance for clothing And covered Himself with zeal [and great love for His people] as a cloak. “A Redeemer (Messiah) will come to Zion, And to those in Jacob (Israel) who turn from transgression (sin),” declares the Lord. “As for Me, this is My covenant with them,” says the Lord: “My Spirit which is upon you [writing the law of God on the heart], and My words which I have put in your mouth shall not depart from your mouth, nor from the mouths of your [true, spiritual] children, nor from the mouth of your children’s children,” says the Lord , “from now and forever.”
