HOLY IS HIS NAME

"Hallowed be thy name." The word translated as hallowed is hagiazo in Greek. It meanings include- to make holy, purify or consecrate, mentally to venerate, sanctify. The NAME of a thing it speaks of the NATURE of the thing. Our son has the family name, my husband's family name; he has his nature also! So when we put this all together, to HALLOW means to make holy, and His NAME speaks of His nature. Well it is obvious that His nature is ALREADY holy, yet Christ instructs us to pray "Hallowed be thy name." So what IS this all about?

Herein lies the answer. Just WHERE has He put His Name and His nature? He has put His Name and His nature in US! Yes, we have this Treasure- His Name and His nature- in earthen vessels. When we pray "Hallowed be thy name" we are praying that His holy, purified, consecrated, sanctified NATURE be established IN US! The book of Exodous spells it out as it declares, "Thou shalt not take the NAME of the LORD thy God (His NATURE) in vain..." (Exodous 20:7) I don't really believe this verse has much to do with "cussing", although bad language is distasteful to me. When I take on His Name, thus becoming His offspring, part of His family and His nature, it is not in vain!

Indeed, as His Name and His nature is hallowed IN US, it is not in vain as His Throne is accurately established in us.
Let us pray "Hallowed be thy name"- Your Righteousness, Your Sanctification, Your Ever-Presence, Your Judgment, Your Peace, etc. etc. Your holy, purified, consecrated, NATURE be established IN US!

Let us pray "Hallowed be thy name"- Your Righteousness, Your Sanctification, Your Ever-Presence, Your Judgment, Your Peace, etc. etc. Your holy, purified, consecrated, NATURE be established IN US!

As we said His name is His nature. As Revelation 3:12 SAYS “He who overcomes, I will make him a pillar in the temple of My God, and he shall go out no more. And I will write on him the name of My God and the name of the city of My God, the New Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from My God. And I will write on him My new name.

Isaiah 62:2 The Gentiles shall see your righteousness, And all kings your glory. You shall be called by a new name, Which the mouth of the Lord will name. The New Name God Gives to Us

The Lord gives us a new name--a new identity. Our total identity is wrapped up in our association with Him. As His children, we receive this new name. In walking in the new name, we are confident and strong, knowing who we are in Him. It is about the name that He has given to us (Revelation 3:12).

We can choose to walk in our "old name" or walk in the new that God has given. It is a picture of choosing to yield to the old man or the new man created in true righteousness in holiness (Ephesians 4:24). We are partakers of the divine nature through His promises (2 Peter 1:4).

Just as Saul received a new name from the Lord, the demons recognized him by his new name, the new divine nature--not the old. This is because Paul walked in the new name and life that God had given to him.

The New Name is the Mark of the Lord or the Mind of Christ. Philippians 2:1-11; Revelation 14:1; 1 Corinthians 2:16: Revelation 3:12

His servants shall serve him; and see his face; his name shall be in their foreheads - Revelation 22:3c,4

The redeemed enjoy perfect fellowship with God and the Lamb. On their foreheads, His Name, His nature.

The sold out, dead to self ones shall see His face; He will be visible to us. That is a present day reality.

His servants shall serve him; and see his face; his name shall be in their foreheads - Revelation 22:3,4.Oh, what a glad surprise! TRANSFIGURATION. - "His name shall be in their foreheads." The name of God is the totality of the Divine perfection and beauty, and the bearing of His name on their foreheads indicates that they are becoming like Him, while they see Him as He is. This is present day reality.

Several years ago I made a study of the names of God, the redemptive names and the attributes of God. You would be surprised how many there are!

A HABITATION OF THE LORD

I hear this cliche in the Body of Christ all the time. It's time not just for a visitation from the Lord but to become His habitation.

We are already His habitation, His tabernacle not made with hands.

For in this we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed with our habitation which is from heaven 2 Cor 5:2 clothed with our habitation Clothed with our origin from which we came, as we are ones ' born from above '

This is talking about the glory that we were originally clothed with in the garden. Adam and Eve "wore" their spirits on the outside, and since our spirits have always been with God even before we were born, even before the beginning of time then therefore, our spirits are light, which is just like God, now that we can go back and have what Adam once had, we can now wear out spirits on the outside again, since we are spirit people and go back to the garden "in" Eden and walk with him like we once did!

We have only scratched the surface of the Glory that He wants to fill the earth with. 2 Cor 4 but we have this treasure in earthen vessels. Clothed with our habitation, which is heaven".

When we come to the realization of who we are in Christ, and walk around with that knowledge, we will illuminate Heaven, which is home! If we wear His presence daily, how can we not have Heaven daily? Our home is right here. So- the earth waits and groans for the children of God to come to the realization of who they are in Christ. It's time we wake up and come to this realization and start wearing it daily! If more and more come to this way of thinking, it will produce unity. One voice, one language.

So many of us live out of our identity in our earthly fathers house which is often times painful and wounding, and it produces more pain to others, but God's plan is for us to find and live out of our identity with our Heavenly Fathers House, our eternal habitation!  I IN HIM AND HE IN US. That is now, not in the sweet bye and bye.

GRACE A GIFT OF GOD

GRACE:

    * As defined in Websters-a manifestation of favor, esp. by a superior; the freely given, unmerited favor and love of God.
    * As defined in Hebrew-subjective (kindness, favor) or objective beauty:-favor, gracious, pleasant, precious, well-favored.
    * As defined in the Greek-graciousness (as gratifying), of manner or act abstract or concrete; literal, figurative or spiritual; especially the divine influence upon the heart, and its reflection in the life.

"For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, {it is} the gift of God; not as a result of works, that no one should boast. For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them." (Eph 2:8-10, NAS)

Grace is God's ability in us to accomplish that which we can never accomplish in our own abilities. We are saved by God's ability in us. This gift of grace empowering is reckoned by having the gift of faith from God.
Yes, Grace comes from God, salvation is a gift from God and faith is also a gift of God.

GRACE, SALVATION and FAITH are all gifts of God. Let's generally define each:

  •  Again GRACE is God's ability in us to accomplish that which we can never accomplish in ourselves. (Phil 2:12)

We have all heard grace defined as unmerited favor and truly it is just that. By no merit (works, excellence, quality) of our own can we be converted and walk in salvation. Unmerited favor is a very general definition of Grace. Grace is also God’s freely given power that works in us and through us.

"But thanks be to God, who always leads us in His triumph in Christ, and manifests through us the sweet aroma of the knowledge of Him in every place." (II Corinthians 2:14, NAS)

"And the Word became flesh (in Jesus), and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father, FULL OF GRACE and truth." (John 1:14, NAS)

Just as Jesus walked victoriously in the world, full of grace and truth we are to walk likewise! His ability in us and through us.

"For of His fullness we have all received, and grace upon grace." (John 1:16, NAS)

The gift of Christ gives dimension to grace and defines our individual value.(Grace was given to each one of us according to the measure of the gift of Christ.) This is the mystery that was hidden for ages and generations; it is Christ in you! (Colossians 1:27)

The only nature I have is God's Divine Nature! DNA, Divine Nature Activated. I do not have 2 natures. There is no human side, or weak side; that is fleshly or soulish.

Christ did not amend Us, Repair us or Fix Us! We were REBORN-

We have been made at peace with God. (Romans 5:1)
We are safe from God's wrath. (Romans 5:9)
We have been freed from all condemnation. (Romans 8:1)
We have been made perfect forever. (Hebrews 10:14)
We have been made complete. (Colossians 2:9,10)
THANK GOD FOR GRACE!!

Old Covenant/New Covenant

There has been some discussion of late about Old Covenant/New Covenant. Are we supposed to keep all the commands of the Old Covenant etc?

We must understand that in the Old Testament God allowed it to be written from 2 perspectives:

1. He allowed His Will to be  written down.
2. He also allowed some to record their own heart’s desires.

Let me give you some examples.

Here are some requests to the Lord by the writer of Psalms.

1. (Psa 119:133)  Order my steps in your word: and let not any iniquity have dominion over me.

2.(Psa 119:134)  Deliver me from the oppression of man: so will I keep your precepts.

3.(Psa 119:135)  Make your face to shine upon your servant; and teach me your statutes.

New Covenant/Finished Work says:

1. (Psa 37:23)  The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and he delightes in his way.

2.(Col 1:13)  Who has delivered us from the power of darkness, and has translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:

3. (2Ti 2:15)  Study to show yourself approved unto God, a workman that needs not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
