SPEAK TO THE STORM

Speak to the Storm

Since we have had massive tornados this spring, earthquakes in different
places and  hurricanes and other potential hurricanes that are coming, it’s
time for the Body of Christ to quit pointing fingers, quit prophesying judgment
and wrath, but rather pray, decree and declare and take our dominion
authority.

My belief is that the Body of Christ is not taking their rightful dominion
mandate.  GEN. 1:28-Could this be whey we are seeing an increase in destructive elements?

How do we pray against a storm?

We must corporately in one voice speak against this storm just as Jesus did
on the Sea of Galilee.

1. Say peace be still!!

Mark 4:35-41 On the same day, when evening had come, He said to them, “Let
us cross over to the other side.”36 Now when they had left the multitude, they
took Him along in the boat as He was. And other little boats were also with
Him.37 And a great windstorm arose, and the waves beat into the boat, so that it
was already filling.38 But He was in the stern, asleep on a pillow. And they
awoke Him and said to Him, “Teacher, do You not care that we are perishing?”39
Then He arose and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, “Peace, be still!” And
the wind ceased and there was a great calm.40 But He said to them, “Why are you
so fearful? How is it that you have no faith?”41 And they feared exceedingly,
and said to one another, “Who can this be, that even the wind and the sea obey
Him!”

The word of command with which Christ rebuked the storm was, Peace, be
still—Sioµpa, pephimoµso—be silent, be dumb. The actual word was not a
word at all but SHHHHH!

Let not the wind any longer roar, nor the sea rage. Thus he stills the
noise of the sea, the noise of her waves; a particular emphasis is laid upon the
noisiness of them, Ps. 65:7, and 93:3, 4. The noise is threatening and
terrifying; let us hear no more of it. We are tired of hearing about
storms, earthquakes and hurricanes, let us hear no more of them.

2. Declare there will be no loss of life as Paul did in Acts 27.

Acts 27:21-22 But after long abstinence from food, then Paul stood in the
midst of them and said, “Men, you should have listened to me, and not have
sailed from Crete and incurred this disaster and loss.22 “And now I urge you to
take heart, for there will be no loss of life among you, but only of the ship.
Acts 27:34 “Therefore I urge you to take nourishment, for this is for your
survival, since not a hair will fall from the head of any of you
It is often important to exercise a key to the miraculous—the spoken word.
God has given us authority over disease, demons, sickness, storms,
earthquakes, tsunamis, and finances (Matt. 10:1; Luke 10:19). Often, we may keep asking God to act, when, in fact, He calls us to establish His authority by our action with divinely empowered speech. Then we may declare that authority in Jesus’ name: we may command needed funds to come to us, command a storm to be stilled, command a demon to come out, command any affliction to leave, command a sickness to depart.

“Jesus said, ‘Whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into
the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he
says will be done, he will have whatever he says’ (Mark 11:23). Believe in your
heart that it has already happened! With the anointing of faith that God gives
you, speak it forth. But remember, miracles come by faith in God’s present
power, not by a ritual or formula of human works or willpower.”

3. Command a demonic storm to dissipate in the name of Jesus Christ.

Command no flooding or destruction. Command an earthquake fault to be healed and to
die.

That’s exactly what happened when a group on intercessors traveled to the
New Madrid Fault in TN/MO and decreed the Word of the Lord and told it to
die.

“New results about the temperatures of rock deep below the New Madrid
Seismic Zone in the central United States shed light on the puzzling questions
of why large earthquakes happened there in 1811 and 1812 and when they may
happen again. Scientists from Northwestern University, the U.S. Army Engineer
Research and Development Center and the University of Illinois at Chicago have
found that New Madrid appears to be cold and dying. They presented their
findings Dec. 13 at the annual meeting of the American Geophysical Union (AGU) in San Francisco.”

Let’s look at Psalm 93:3-4
3 The floods have lifted up, O LORD,
The floods have lifted up their voice;
The floods lift up their waves.
4 The LORD on high is mightier
Than the noise of many waters,
Than the mighty waves of the sea.

And Isaiah 27:1
In that day the LORD with His severe sword, great and strong,
1 Will punish Leviathan the fleeing serpent,
Leviathan that twisted serpent;
And He will slay the reptile that is in the sea.

The "sword of the Lord" is the Word of God, the living and energetic Word,
the almighty Word by which He slays the dragon in the sea.

Body of Christ let’s pull together in this. The Lord is calling all Christians everywhere to gather together in prayer. Pastors, start prayer chains for 24 hour intercession or set weekly or daily prayer meetings. Beloved, let us
quickly turn to the Lord in prayer. Intercessors come together and start
speaking the same thing.

Use these Scriptures to help you in your prayer, but by all means pray,decree/declare.

Job 26:12 He stirs up the sea with His power, And by His understanding He breaks up the storm.

Ps. 107:28-30 Then they cry out to the LORD in their trouble, And He brings them out of their distresses. He calms the storm, So that its waves are still.

Is. 4:5-6 then the LORD will create above every dwelling place of Mount
Zion, and above her assemblies, a cloud and smoke by day and the shining of a
flaming fire by night. For over all the glory there will be a covering. 6And
there will be a tabernacle for shade in the daytime from the heat, for a place
of refuge, and for a shelter from storm and rain.

Is. 25:4 For You have been a strength to the poor, A strength to the needy in his distress, A refuge from the storm, A shade from the
heat;

Is. 59:19 So shall they fear The name of the LORD from
the west, And His glory from the rising of the sun; When the enemy comes in, like a flood The Spirit of the LORD will lift up a standard against him.
