God is a God of abundance.
The story of Elijah speaking against the drought and speaking an abundance of rain is a perfect example.
1
Kings 18:41 Then Elijah said to Ahab, “Go up, eat and drink; for there is the
sound of abundance of rain.” 42 So Ahab went up to eat and drink. And Elijah
went up to the top of Carmel; then he bowed down on the ground, and put his
face between his knees,43 and said to his servant, “Go up now, look toward the
sea.” So he went up and looked, and said, “There is nothing.” And
seven times he said, “Go again.”44 Then it came to pass the seventh time,
that he said, “There is a cloud, as small as a man’s hand, rising out of the
sea!” So he said, “Go up, say to Ahab, ‘Prepare your chariot, and
go down before the rain stops you.’ ”45 Now it happened in the meantime that
the sky became black with clouds and wind, and there was a heavy rain. So Ahab
rode away and went to Jezreel.

Some Scriptures on Abundance

satisfy her poor with bread.

and let us eat and be merry;
John 10:10

come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.
Eph.3:20 Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or
think, according to the power that works in us,
Titus 3:5-6 not by works of righteousness which we
have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of
regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit,6 whom He poured out on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our
Savior,
2 Peter 1:11
for so an entrance will be supplied to you abundantly
into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
2 Cor. 9:8 And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.
Paul prayed that we may be able to "grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge" (Ephesians 3:19). He wants us to know it and yet it is more than we can ever know. If we present our requests to God with prayer and thanksgiving, "the peace of God, which transcends all understanding" will guard our hearts and minds (Philippians 4:7). God's peace goes beyond anything we can understand or explain. The abundance God has for us is beyond anything else we have ever experienced. Thus Paul speaks of God's "incomparably great power for us who believe" (Ephesians 1:19) and the "incomparable riches of his grace" (Ephesians 2:7). God is "able to do immeasurably more ["exceedingly abundantly" KJV] than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us" (Ephesians 3:20).
