GOD IS LOVE!!

John 4:8,16) He who does not love does not know
God, for God is love.16 And we have known and believed the love that God has
for us. God is love, and he who abides in love abides in God, and God in him.
There is only one True and Living
God (Ex.20:2-3) who exists as the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, and that He is
worthy of all honor, praise, and glory as the Creator, Sustainer, and Beginning
and End of all things (Rev. 4:11; 5:9-10; Isa. 43:1,7,21) Jesus Christ is the
Messiah, the Word who became flesh and dwelt among us (John 1:1,14)
He loves me as He does Jesus.
(John 17:23)
23 “I in them, and You in Me; that they may be made perfect in one, and that
the world may know that You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved
Me.
You have to have a revelation of
God’s Love.
Romans 8:39 No power in the sky above or in the earth
below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the
love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.NLT
Because He is Love, so am I.
(1Jn 4:17-21) In this is our love made perfect, that we may
have boldness in the day of judgment/crisis, that as He is, so also we are in
this world. There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear, because
fear has torment. He who fears has not been perfected in love. We love Him
because He first loved us. If anyone says, I love God, and hates his brother,
he is a liar. For if he does not love his brother whom he has seen, how can he
love God whom he has not seen? And we have this commandment from Him, that he
who loves God should love his brother also.
I AM LOVE!! We are love!!
Romans 5:8 and God does commend His own love to us, that,
in our being still in sin; Christ did die for us;YLT
He who is destitute of love has never had any knowledge of God; because God is love.1 John 4:8 Weymouth
As Jesus is, so are we. Jesus is in the Father, we are in
Jesus. We come from the father's bosom/ heart.
Bosom means: The
seat of one's inner thoughts, feelings etc.; one's secret feelings; desire.
(heart)
In the Greek bosom means a body of
running water. (Joh 7:38) He who
believes on Me, as the Scripture has said, "Out of his belly shall flow
rivers (running water) of living
water."
God did not create mankind because He was lonely. God was
perfect Love in Trinity –God created because He IS Triune Love that always
seeks “others” to participate in the love-fest of His Trinitarian Love.
God IS Love, and He cannot cease to be God. He cannot cease
to be Love, or to act in Love. He had intimated to the first couple in the
garden that He would come back for them – a Messianic promise (3:15). A promise
He renewed throughout the old covenant.
Faithful to His promises the God of Love pursued mankind to
restore His beloved human beings into His Trinitarian Love.
“God so loved the
world that He sent His only begotten Son...” (Jn. 3:16). The incarnation of the
Son of God as the God-man, the “one mediator between God and man” (I Tim. 2:5),
is the singular greatest and miraculous expression of God’s love for mankind.
The Son of God assumed humanity ... became flesh ... one of us. The incarnation
of Jesus Christ was intended to be the restoration of God’s divine Love-life in
all of mankind, as the “life of Jesus is manifested in our mortal flesh” (II
Cor. 4:11).
“For God did not
send the Son into the world to judge the world; but that the world should be
saved through Him. He who believes in Him is not judged; he who does not
believe has been judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the
only begotten Son of God. And this is the judgment, that the light is come into
the world, and men loved the darkness rather than the light; for their deeds
were evil.” (Jn. 3:17,18).
God loved us. God sought us. “God was in Christ reconciling
the world to Himself” (II Cor. 5:19).
Divine Love-life cannot be earned, merited or purchased. As
with physical life which begins with conception and birth, so the metaphor of
birth is applied to the reception of the spiritual life of God.
We know Greek dictionaries define 4 kinds of love:
- Eros-means "love, mostly passion." The Modern Greek word "erotas" means "intimate love." Plato refined his own definition: Although eros is initially felt for a person, with contemplation it becomes an appreciation of the beauty within that person.
- Philia-means "affectionate regard, friendship," usually "between equals."It is a dispassionate virtuous love, a concept developed by Aristotle.
- Agape -means "love, charity; the love of God for man and of man for God." Agape is used in ancient texts to denote feelings for one's children and the feelings for a spouse, and it was also used to refer to a love feast. Agape is used by Christians to express the unconditional love of God for his children.
- Storge-means "love, affection" and "especially of parents and children" It's the common or natural empathy, like that felt by parents for offspring.
However, these are not defined in
Scripture.
This spiritual rebirth becomes active again in our spirit
is not merely a readjustment of thought processes. It is not a renewal of
dedication to be the best we can be. It is not a reorientation of our desires
and aspirations. Spiritual regeneration means “to bring into being again
spiritually” (darkness to light).” The life of the divine Trinity, Father, Son,
and Holy Spirit is restored and brought into being again within the spirit of a
receptive individual, so that they participate again in the drama of God’s Love
as God intended when He first created mankind.
This is agape.
(Rom 5:8) But God commends His love toward us in that
while we were yet sinners Christ died for us.
The love-life that the Christian receives in Jesus Christ
is not just a deposit that is only to be fully experienced in heaven someday.
It is the fallacy of religion that projects the fulfillment of the love
relationship to the future. The life of the risen Lord Jesus is to be lived out
in our behavior on earth, exhibiting the love relationship that we have with
our Savior.
God, that the Triune God (Elohim), has come to express His
love-life in us. “Do you not recognize that Jesus Christ is in you? (II Cor.
13:5). “This is the mystery...Christ in you, the hope of glory” (Col. 1:26,27).
Having become a “new creature” (II Cor. 5:17), “it is no longer I who live, but
Christ lives in me” (Gal. 2:20).
Love is not just in you. Love is you.
When the love-life of Father, Son and Holy Spirit is
expressed in us, and as us, and through us, Love grows in your soulish realm and physical actions from
the Love in You; This is the principle:
“Love fulfills the
law” (Rom. 13:8-10; Gal. 5:14).
Perfect Love casts out all fear and covers a multitude of
sin.
(1Jn 4:18) There is
no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear, because fear has torment. He
who fears has not been perfected in love.
(1Pe 4:8) And above all things have fervent love to
yourselves, for love will cover a multitude of sins.
Ephesians 5:1-2 MSG: Mostly
what God does is love you. Keep company with him and learn a life of love.
Observe how Christ loved us. His love was not cautious but extravagant. He didn't
love in order to get something from us but to give everything of himself to us.
Love like that.
* LOVE (AGAPE) *
Charity
(AGAPE: Strong’s #26) suffereth long, and
is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up,
Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked,
thinketh no evil; Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth;
Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all
things. Charity never faileth (1
Corinthians 13:4-8).
LOVE:
- Suffers Long - is an unlimited resource
- Is Kind - is impartial
- Envieth not - is above emotions
- Vaunteth not itself - operates in the sufficiency of God
- Is not Puffed up - is above intellect
- Is not Unseemly - gives and does not grab
- Seeketh not her own - glorifies God (is not self
centered)
- Is not Easily Provoked - is above circumstances
- Thinketh no evil - values the Good
- Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but Rejoiceth in the Truth -
brings and is good news
- Beareth all things, Believeth all things, Hopeth all
things, Endures all things - is foundational
- Never fails - is eternal
LOVE IS: infinite,
impartial, in the Spirit, in control, illuminating, instant in season, intent
on Him, incorruptible, immortal, ideal, indissoluble, indestructible.
LOVE IS NOT:
partial, prejudiced, petty, pompous, puffed up, pushy, prideful,
provoked, polluted, promoting sin, passive, perishable.
LOVE DOES: bring
repentance, remit, receive from Him, reveal the Christ, rest in Him, respect
others, reverence God, redeem, resurrect, rejoice, restore, remain.
LOVE DOES NOT:
frustrate, factionalize, fret, flaunt fantasize, fornicate, fight,
fester, fear, fabricate fiction, falter, fail.
Tough love is an oxymoron….a contradictory term.
If we express love in an unsentimental way (which is not
love at all), we send two messages. I love you but there's a provision. If we
are affectionately concerned in a stern way , we are not fully engaged. Tough
love is a management mindset. It rules by fear, terms and conditions.
God is
LOVE (1 John 4:8,16).

joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance:
against such there is no law.

Joy is love exalted, peace is
love in repose/rest, long-suffering is love enduring, gentleness is love bowing,
goodness is love in action, faith is love trusting, meekness is love not
fighting , and temperance is love not controlling.
Love is not an emotion; it is your very existence.
Jesus was
completely dependent upon the Father. In this expression of humility, obedience
and dependence we see the ideal son, since a son is to reproduce his father's
thought and action. He does nothing by
himself, or more literally,
"from himself"; his
source of being and activity is not himself but his Father. He cannot act from
himself, for to do so would be to exist autonomously from God.
Christ was in the Father; we are in Christ.
(Gal 2:20) I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I
live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the
flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for
me.
JESUS I AM’s
John 15:5 -
I am the vine, ye [are] the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the
same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.
John 14:6 - Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
John 8:58 - Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am.

HOW POWERFUL IS I AM?
(John 18:4-6) Then Jesus, knowing all things that were
coming upon Him, went out and said to them, Whom do you seek?
They answered Him, Jesus of Nazareth.
Jesus said to them, I AM! And Judas who betrayed Him also stood with them. Then
as soon as He had said to them, I AM, they went backward and fell to the
ground.
It is in the Gospel of John, however, that the
most beautiful and personally meaningful "I am"s are found. There are
seven of these, as follows:
- "I
am the bread of life" (John 6:35,48,51).
- "I
am the light of the world" (John 8:12).
- "I
am the door of the sheep"(John 10:7,9).
- "I
am the good shepherd" (John 10:11,14).
- "I
am the resurrection, and the life" (John 11:25).
- "I
am the way, the truth, and the life" (John 14:6).
- "I
am the true vine" (John 15:1,5).
As He is so are we.1 John 4:17
Without question, in this
place of I AM...we are many, yet only ONE.
If I am feeling sad...if I
am feeling hurt...if I am feeling rejected or even confused...it is really not
who I AM. I AM the knowing...not the condition that is known.
The Word of God Says in Jesus Christ…
I am faithful (Ephesians 1:1)
I am God’s child (John 1:12)
I have been justified (Romans 5:1)
I am Christ’s friend (John 15:15)
I belong to God (1 Corinthians 6:20)
I am a member of Christ’s Body (1 Corinthians 12:27)
I am assured all things work together for good (Romans 8:28)
I have been established, anointed and sealed by God (2 Corinthians 1:21-22)
I am confident that God will perfect the work He has begun in me (Philippians 1:6)
I am a citizen of heaven (Philippians 3:20)
I am hidden with Christ in God (Colossians 3:3)
God is "ALL LOVING, ALL KNOWING, PURE HEALTH, PURE
ABUNDANCE, PURE GOODNESS, PURE CREATIVENESS, PURE JOY, PURE PASSION, PURE
WORTH, PURE DESERVING".
Since you are God's offspring and are
"ONE" with HIM, you deserve to 'feel' and 'live' all of those
things....because YOU ARE ALL OF THOSE THINGS. (1 John 4:17)
This is a motto I live/love by everyday:
BE YOURSELF;BE LOVE!
