The Word says to put on the new man in Christ and put off the old man who was in darkness.
Eph. 4:24 and that you put on the new man which was created according to God, in true righteousness and holiness.
Col. 3:10 and have put on the new man (new self) who is renewed in knowledge according to the image of Him who created him,
OLD MAN LED BY SENSE REALM; NEW MAN LED BY SPIRIT
Old man ~double minded; New man ~ Christ minded
Old man~ Good and evil; New man ~ only good
Old man~ light and dark; New man ~ LIGHT
Old man ~ judgment by appearances ; New man ~ Love
Old man ~sense, natural senses; New man ~ spiritual senses
Old man ~ religion/ thought you were separated from God; New man ~ no separation/ONENESS: You only thought you were separated in your mind.
Colossians 1:21And you, who once were alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now He has reconciled
